When you use OCR Invoice Scanner, you're agreeing to follow these rules. Think of this as our agreement with you about how the service works. If something here doesn't make sense or you don't agree with it, feel free to reach out to us before using the service.
OCR Invoice Scanner is an online tool that extracts data from invoices and receipts using AI-powered OCR technology. You upload images or PDFs of invoices, and our system pulls out information like vendor names, invoice numbers, dates, line items, and totals. You can then export this data to CSV, Excel, or JSON formats for use in your accounting software.
We run this service on our servers, and you access it through your web browser. No software installation needed. The service works best with clear, readable invoice images and standard business invoice formats.
To process invoices, you'll need to sign up for an account. Here's what you need to know:
We offer a free tier that lets you process 5 invoices per month. Beyond that, we have paid plans starting at $29/month. Here's the payment stuff you should know:
All prices are in USD. If you're outside the US, your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
We want everyone to have a good experience, so here are the ground rules:
If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account. We'll usually give a warning first, but serious violations can result in immediate action.
The OCR Invoice Scanner website, software, and all the code behind it belong to us. The data you extract from your invoices belongs to you - we don't claim any rights to your business documents or the extracted information.
You can use the extracted data however you want - import it into QuickBooks, send it to your accountant, store it in your own systems. It's yours.
We hope it never comes to this, but we can suspend or close accounts if:
You can also close your account anytime from your settings page. When you do, we'll delete your data within 30 days, unless we're required to keep it for legal reasons.
We work hard to keep OCR Invoice Scanner running smoothly, but things can go wrong. Here's what you should know:
If something goes wrong, contact us and we'll do our best to help. But we can't be held responsible for indirect damages or lost profits.
We might need to update these terms as our service evolves. When we make significant changes, we'll:
If you keep using the service after changes are posted, that means you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel your account.
We're here to help. If you have questions about these terms, billing issues, or anything else, reach out to us:
For billing questions, include your account email. For technical issues, let us know what you were trying to do and any error messages you saw.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If there's a dispute, we'll try to work it out through email first. If that doesn't work, we'll use binding arbitration rather than going to court.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply. We can assign these terms to another company if we're acquired or merge with another business.
